We are open for entries until Tuesday 28 May
We’re celebrating the inspirational people, projects and partnerships supporting Scotland’s species, and we need your help to find them. Have you made a significant impact for Scotland’s nature in the past three years? Or perhaps you know someone who has?
For over a decade, the Nature of Scotland Awards have recognised the very best in Scottish nature conservation. With the support of our generous sponsors and in partnership with headline sponsor NatureScot, we want to highlight excellence, collaboration and action for nature.
Are you a conservation champion?
We want to hear from businesses, farmers, non-governmental organisations, schools, community groups and individuals who have supported Scottish species and habitats in the past three years. We’d particularly love to see entrants who are collaborating with partners to make maximum impact for nature. Whether you’d like to showcase your own work or nominate others, the Nature of Scotland Awards are open to all – and it’s free to take part!
There are a whole host of categories to enter
The awards feature ten categories in total. This year we’re excited to welcome the return of two very popular categories, focusing on the achievements of young people and the nature tourism sector.
Our Youth Action Award is open to groups of young people aged under 25 who are taking action for nature, whether that’s through enhancing green spaces, conducting citizen science projects or inspiring others to make environmentally-conscious choices.
Our Nature Tourism Award seeks to recognise tourism businesses and initiatives that are going beyond simply reducing their negative impact on the environment and are making a positive difference for nature.

Headline Sponsor: NatureScot
NatureScot is Scotland's nature agency. We bring 30 years of experience, expertise and passion to our nation's most vital endeavour: to tackle the twin crises of nature's devastating decline and the climate emergency.
Working with partners, communities and businesses we're leading nationally to stop the dramatic decline in biodiversity, as a necessary first step towards substantial regeneration by 2045. By restoring biodiversity, nature will make an essential contribution to both hitting net zero carbon emissions targets and a thriving economy with people’s wellbeing at its heart.
